This is new to us. May I know if it is a free or trial version of AVG that you are using? Do you receive any error message when the app closes or goes inactive? Please provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of it. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
AVG keeps going inactive or closing all the time. I have some type of bug on the computer that keeps throwing up warnings about things on the computer when I am online but AVG does not respond. When I check on it the icon has an x on it and I have to restart it constantly. Any helpers?
AVG is now reinstalled but I keep getting these web pop ups saying Critical alert from Microsoft in a computerized voice. Ive never had anything like this before using AVG because it is a great product
I am not at home at the current time but there are no error messages saying it is closing or going inactive. I keep getting malicious pop ups in my browser. I currently have the free version with the tuneup addition to it. When I see the popup I close it and check to find that AVG is not running. When I double click the icon it says oops that's embarrassing AVG is not responding. When I click restart it asks to download something to the computer trusted by AVG then says oops again. When I click restart again it does open then closed probably 5 mins later

Thomas, this seems to be a browser issue. Please reset your browser and check if that fix the issue.
