I can't find the Privacy Pop-ups on this link. You need to show me the steps in the page that comes up.
As of 3-15-21 I am having the same problem. Since AVG does not seem to want to correct this I am strongly considering finding another anti-virus service. I can understand the desire by AVG to make it difficult or impossible to cancel items once they are in the purchasing "basket", but this kind of greed is not good for your business, and will cost you customers over time. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION!
The panel has stopped coming up now. When it did carry on coming up, I never had time to see to it so just had to empty the basket again. I was trying to keep the sequence you gave me on the link in my mind so I could do it but it was hard.
What they are doing now is bringing up a panel to try to SELL me one! They keep telling me that someone is tracking me and do all these steps to get rid of that which, of course is to buy a two year sub for $70 odd dolllaars. I bought this once before but didn't realise it had to be activated, and didn't know how to do it anyway. I think there was a key number or something. I had it for a year, but I'd only paid about $29.95c I think. I heard that having a tracker is harmful to your comp, so I applied to get my money refunded, saying that I'd just wasted my money, and I got it back.
I'm already paying for about four things with AVG, how many more things do they want me to buy! I've got the Security, VPN, Tune-up and Drivers Updater. I think it's the Security that's coming up for renewal this month.
On the interface it tells me that I am FULLY PROTECTED so why do I need an anti tracker! The Security etc covers me for hackers and alsorts of other things, trackers should be covered by that! It also tells you that your VPN won't completely protct you, so I think I'm wasting my money with that. I don't want to buy anything else, so stop having this panel coming up to try to seel me things.
We apologize for the inconvenience, Jackie.

I think I started to buy a product from AVG, which I think is the AVG Tracker which I don't want. I cancelled the sale before I got to the payment part and it said my 'cart was empty.' Trouble is, they keep putting a panel up at the bottom right-hand of my computer Desk Top to say that I have this product in my basket and must have forgotten about it. Every time I delete it to say the 'cart is empty' it just keeps putting it back and notifying me about it. How can I get it to stop this and keep the cart empty?

Hello, the same problem. First you offer to buy a 'anti-tracker' program, then I see it will cost money over the plan I already pay and make my basket empty. And then I see those pop-ups a month, almost every day I launch the PC. Like a bad spam, not a spam protection software
I've just been and done that. I unticked the bottom two in the Offers. Hope it doesn't mean that things don't get updated. I've never had trackers before until now after all the years I've had AVG. There are still too many things to buy. You buy one thing then they tell you this other thing is much better, or even better. As I say, I've got four already, it just goes on and on. Thanks for the info, hope it hasn't upset anything else.

We understand your concern, Jackie.
Furthermore, you shouldn't receive notification for other AVG programs, if you have disabled both the options mentioned in Offer section.
However, the campaign notifications are to improvise/personalize the existing app. An user can either ignore it or proceed to purchase it depending on user preference.
Please monitor the status & report us, if issue persists.

Regarding your query about why you need AVG AntiTrack when you have AVG Internet Security, Antivirus products are designed to protect your device from security threats, such as viruses, trojans, and malware, but will not prevent online tracking. Unlike VPN and antivirus products, AVG AntiTrack is designed to prevent third parties and advertisers from tracking your online activity.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, Michael.
Please address your issue in your your own/new post so that we can access your account information & assist you further via email.
Thank you for understanding in advance!

I'd have to wait until it showed up again. I don't know how to take a screen shot of it. When I click on it it brings up the panel showing the cart with the product in it, and then you are supposed to continue to complete the sale.
