My AVG Trial of Internet Security ran out now normally I get a message up about wanting to downgrade

but at the moment my one is in a purple-ish pink message telling me to buy the version and will not let me do anything see screenshot below or if that is not working the Link below is the same one

this has not been solved as it came back

any update to this issue as it is still there and I do not know if I have protection or not

I did as you said and it worked for about 2 minutes then the same screen came up

Thank you for providing the screenshot. If we understand correctly, you would like to remove the AVG program that was expired and install the AVG Antivirus free version. If yes, please follow the instructions below to remove the traces of AVG and install the AVG Antivirus free.

Here are the instructions:
1. Download and run the tool to remove the AVG traces. Here is the link: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe (NOTE: Click "No" when the PC prompts for a restart in Safe mode)
2. If the tool doesn't run, download the tool from the link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
3. Once the PC is rebooted in normal mode after running the remover tool, click on the link to download and install the AVG Antivirus free: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free
