AVG keeps showing me this message while using google search

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please let us know whether this happens in Chrome or irrespective of browsers.
Meanwhile, as it seems to be a false positive, please ensure that the AVG program has the latest patches applied to it.
To do so : Open AVG Antivirus - Click on refresh icon beside virus definitions - Restart computer after successfull update & check if you still receive the notification.

I am also having the same issue in Firefox.   Not just chrome related.

Looks a bit like a search/browser hijack, but I can't find anything relating to it in the registry or firefox settings.

Only appears after searching for something in google, navigating to google.com doesn't trigger it.
virus definitions and avg application have been updated, restarted, and checked again. still same issue.
