AVG kept me off the internet

How about you refund my money instead?
It took me all day to get your program off my other device  which AVG was draining  80% CPU and DIDN'T have malwarebytes on it.
Between the two programs Malwarebytes has been the most robust. I purchased your antivirus and have used it several years becuse it was compatable. I was a happy customer untill recenty and i  have spoke to other frinds who's systems have been compromised as of late. I think maybe you guys should reconsider your approce and gangster like approce to handelign customers

Hello Deborah,
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. After recent AVG updates, we do not recommend our customer to keep two Antivirus programs at the same time. However, you can keep Malwarebytes and AVG Internet Security together for your computer protection. Please open Malwarebytes > settings > scroll down > Windows action center > check the box "never use malwarebytes in Windows action center". (1/2)

…and cost me time and money. It was near impossible to delete…I thought my network interface card was fried but then my WiFi didn't work either. After 3 hours i decided to delete AVG and voila! my PC was back to running normal. Seems AVG doesn't like Malwarebytes anymore well hey guys…I choose Malwarebytes over you as i only got AVG 3 years ago because it was compatible with that program and now it is not.Used to be decent, now it's worse then any virus and as hard to delete or get rid of!!!
It is also trashing my 2nd back up  PC and using up 90% of my CPU even though i went through the delete steps several times. DONT USE AVG if you have it DELETE IT!!!

Deborah,
I do understand the inconvenience this may have caused to you. I regret to inform you that we are unable to process a refund or offer a prorated refund. According to our refund policy, you are entitled to a refund within 30 days of the date your payment was processed. Unfortunately, in your case this timeframe has been surpassed.

However we are here to help you resolve the issue with high CPU usage by AVG program. I would request you to re install AVG Internet Security - Unlimited and check if the issue persist. If yes, please disable AVG Self protection as the next troubleshooting option.
Open AVG Internet Security, click on Menu->Settings->Troubleshooting. Then untick "Enable AVG Self Protection module".

After that, you can remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG Internet Security 2017. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. Please follow the instruction ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product ) to run AVG Remover tool and AVG Clear tool. After the computer reboots, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection) to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Alok.(2/2)
