Hi Paul,

We will help you to get this issue resolved.

Can you connect the WiFi network from other devices?

Do you have any other AVG programs installed on your PC?

If so please uninstall those programs and try to connect to your WiFi network and see if that works fine.

Ran the free AVG Pc performance program on my laptop, laptop now will not connect to WiFi. Network Connection says ‘not connected, firewalled.’ It ‘sees’ the WiFi but when I click on it it won’t connect. Nothing wrong with the WiFi the software did something. I undid everything, still no connect. I uninstalled, still no connect. I don’t have the installation file so please don’t tell me to do something in the program there won’t be an AVG product on anything I ever own. Can’t be the only person this happened to please help!

Karthikeyan-
I’ve already uninstalled all AVG products, does the removal tool go beyond that? I’m going to have to try to find a computer to dl it to a stick etc because AVG messed up my WiFi connection and don’t want to waste my time if not necessary. Thanks for answering please email me paulmelk@comcast.net

Tony-

Paul,

did you attempt to remove the adapter from the windows device manager and run the hardware scan to let it reinstall the adapter and drivers? If not, give that a shot.

Didn’t work. I previously got a message saying something about no adapter being available. It disappeared before I could write it down. Thanks for trying, any other suggestions?

Did my reply to your reply not get posted? I deleted avg antivirus. Stilll doesn’t work
