Hello Dale,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
This is a known issue and this license error popup will appear for all trial, free and paid version of AVG antivirus and internet security program.
To fix this we have to completely reinstall AVG program using the AVG remover tool.  Please follow the below mentioned instructions:
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link: 
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

I keep getting a pop up message "AVG License Error".  I put in the correct license and it confirms that the number is correct so why do I keep getting the message?
