AVG Marketing pop-ups

Dear AVG,

The past few months AVG has been terrorising my computer with marketing pop-ups showing up at random times. These pop-ups aren't even the biggest issue I am struggling with, but while playing a game it is certainly pissing me off. It wil cause the games I play to malfunction because the popup will force the mouse/keyboard focus as well. 

I am not sure what this pop-up is worth to you, I have had a perfect history with AVG for more than 10 years. But this feature does it, just wanted to let you know: I waited for 3 months now, waiting for you to remove this failing marketing strategy. Now it is time to move on to an alternative. How can you protect against malware and virusses when you are the biggest malware at this moment?

Thanks for the replies!

I was already aware of the option to select the option: "once in three days". Wich basically still means that AVG will interupt my fullscreen games, right? Correct me if I am wrong, this is just malware. 

Besides, I happen to be a software developer and give advice to family and friends for their computers. Tell me, how am I going to sell AVG at the moment? How is it not hypocrite to protect against other malware and disturb the users for your own bread? Just wanted to give this feedback, nothing more.
