I believe that all the problems i am having with my computer started on 9/11 when AVG quarantined a JS:FAKEALERTTROJAN from our computer. I am having so many problems now with basic functions that i never had problems with before that day. There has to be a way you can fix this without me having to send screenshots for everything. The last time you connected to my computer remotely, you erased all traces of the AVG i had and reinstalled a new one. Along with that new download, you downloaded Google Chrome of which you never mentioned to me and i do not want.A few days later i got an "out of date " update pop up on my AVG screen. The next day after updating,my hacker protection was OFF.i turned it back on and 12 days later it was off again. I do not trust AVG anymore and i am NOT renewing next year. This is total B.S. I want control of my computer again and to feel safe again. Consult with your superiors and figure out how to safely get my computer back to the state it was in before or i demand a refund.
Hi Rebecca,
We will certainly check this for you.
Please share us the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot) of the pop up from AVG regarding poorly rated browser to check and assist you further.
Thanks,
Vishnu Vardan
i am now getting messages during a scan that say there is a poorly rated browser addon Do you want to remove it ?
i am having trouble with that screenshot. It shows personal info that i don't want shown. I am having lots of problems with AVG in scanning, trying to delete files, renaming files, and the messages on poorly rated browser, etc. It sounds like it is a protection feature gone wild. How do i get rid of all of these? I shouldn't have to show screenshots for AVG to fix this problem.

Rebecca, we would not be able to conclude the exact issue without seeing what happening exactly. If you would like, we can send instructions to get connected with our remote assistance team. They can connect to your PC remotely and resolve the issues.
