AVG messing up Android Studios

Hello Larry,

I understand the inconvenience.
Please be informed that the free up space feature is involved in AVG PC TuneUp program which helps to speed up your computer.
The restore changes from rescue center will only bring back the settings changes that was made by PC TuneUp to your PC.
It cannot retrieve the files that was deleted during duplicate finder and few other features.
Unfortunately the files deleted during duplicate finder couldn't be retrieved.
You can try system restore or "restore deleted file" feature which is available in AVG PC TuneUp.
Open AVG PC TuneUp dashboard and click on "All Functions–>Restore deleted file"
This feature is worth trying but possibility of getting deleted files is quite less.

So I have OCD. I wanted to get that perfect 100 and get my computer completely "tuned up." I didn't have much time, so I quickly allowed AVG to do the work on my computer. What I didn't know was that I had to carefully check everything before I could click "yes." When I opened Android Studios after cleaning the computer, I had a ton of errors. I didn't realize that the "free up space" would delete necessary duplicate files in my Android support repository. So I saw the problem and went back to AVG and went to the rescue center. I reverted all changes and guess what... It didn't fix the problem. And I ended up spending a few hours trying to fix this, even having to reinstall Android Studios. This was a huge waste of time for me and I regret downloading AVG now. I might seem stupid, but this antivirus should be designed with the common person in mind. Thank you.
