Could you clarify which AVG program update has caused this issue?
What would be the exact error message that you receive when you try to open MS Office applications?

Since an AVG update Microsoft Office programmes refuse to open. I have repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled office many times. Can anyone help?

I didnt get any error message, the programmes just refused to do anything. Did a repair on AVG and now it seems to be working.
