Hello John,

You can add the application to "Do Not Disturb" mode of AVG as mentioned in this article. 
By doing this, you won't get the notifications from AVG while using the particular application.

Hi, I have been previously satisified with AVG as a product but lately it has been minimizing full screen apps from time to time with a message saying "AVG expires in x days" and "select protection". If AVG thinks it's OK for their software to minimize my fullscreen apps to give me popup boxes asking for subscription to their services I will use a different antivirus program, and then the chance of me subscribing to any other AVG products will go down to zero…
