The AVG product is proving to more of a hinderance than a help.
I would like to suggest that AVG engineers take notice of the real big problems and time being spent disabling part or all of the protection whilst trying to do real work.
Simply put, why is the User interface so badly designed and cumbersome and does not relate to the real world usgae.
There is NO Engineering mode of operation and much time is spent looking for th offending protection to disable so that the simplest task can be performed.
Here is an example
Synergy is a product that allows me to use a single mouse keyboard with my laptop and workstations and other hardware.
what option is there in AVG available to "allow" ,(and NOT disable the whole of AVG ) to permit this product to function.
This is one of many issues relating to AVG's poor concept of every day computing and protection
