Sacke, Good to hear.
Please do let us know the status of it after a week.
Thank you.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Do you actually wish to use a paid or free version of AVG program? Please provide us a screen-shot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the pop-up message which will help us in assisting you better. Thank you.

Hello Rajarajan and Alan Binch

Look at the attached image. It doesn't matter if you click on No thanks it keeps popping up. Please put a checkmark "don't show this again"

Annoying popup

Hello Balasubramanian

It took some time, and sadly the issue is back. I've checked everything as per previous TS-ing, I'm starting to believe this is a bug in the sw.

Tsk tsk…I get the same exact nag that won't go away along with two (2) additional ones from AVG:

"Tune up your PC: FREE 1-Time Fix blah, blah, blah"

AND

"It's March. It's Mad. It's 66% off The Ultimate AVG. (clicked no thanks many times) blah, blah, blah"

Now I'm dealing with two (2) companies that have no respect for their loyal users (Windows…the v10 nag and AVG). If this continues into April, then I'm going to jump ship and switch over to the software my spouse uses on his system (which won't cost anything to add me to either).

Again, shame on AVG for spamming and based on the comments in this thread there doesn't seem to be a care or concern about doing it.

Hello Balasubramanian,

So long so good. It hasn't appeared yet, and I will monitor it for the rest of the week. If nothing happens by then then we can close the ticket.

hello!

AVG keeps bagging about installing Internet Security. I want AVG to stop bugging me about this as I don't want to intall the product.

Is thera a way to permanently disable this BADware?

Hello Aravind,

The checkbox is already unticked, so there is something else triggering the popup.

We certainly understand your concern and we take this as your feedback. It will be passed up to the concern team and will do the needful in the coming updates. Appreciate your understanding. Thank you.

Hello Sacke,
We would like to inform you it is not a bug. It is a notification directed towards our free version users to encourage them to try PRO features of AVG. Thank you.

Well in that case you are out of my list of possible business partners. This is NOT a way to encourage people to buy from you, and is NOT an ACCEPTABLE business solution.

I'm good with this appearing once in a while, but not daily.

Get rid of this DAILY SPAM or I will tell people to not install your software.

Hello Sacke,

Thank you for following those instructions.
We request you to completely reinstall your AVG program using our AVG remover tool once and then check whether you are getting this popup.
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
