Hi Midhun.
I have followed the instructions outlined in the article that you have recommended, and indeed, when I deactivate the protection against Ramsonware, I can move any folder and change its name.
What am I supposed to do now?
Thank you.
Hello Bruno,
Thank you for the reply.
It seems most of your files/folders are in protected stated and hence Ransomware shield is not allowing to modify it.Ransomware protection automatically scans for and secures folders that may contain personal data. I believe the folder that you try to rename/move contains your personal data and hence AVG Ransomware protection is blocking it.
All you need to do is to unselect the particular file/folder from protection.
To know aboit it further refer: | AVG (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=use-avg-antivirus-ransomware-protection&q=ransomware&supportType=home)
Unselcting the file/folder from protection is not a right choice.
But, in your case as you are trying to rename/ move the folder to other location, you need to disable the protection. After moving the folder to new location and after renaming it, please enable the protection for the renamed folder in the new location. The above link has details for adding protection to new file/folders. I hope you find the information helpful.

Thank you and keep us updated.
