AVG Not fully updating

AVG security home page indicates "you are not fully protected"  I checked the overview which indicates that Anti Virus and Anti Spyware databases are outdated. I have run many updates and receive message that update is complete but the outdated message still appears. I clicked on "fix all" but it does not resolve anything. Is there anything else I can do.
