AVG not running tried all normal ways

I am having the same issue. Can anyone help ?

Like the post that you  refer to I can't retreive my license number as it will NOT open. I think that my effort would be best spent finding a new provider.  AVG used to be great.  Now even your app just tries to sell more add ons, when it runs. It's a shame.  I had to get live help just  to install on Widows 10 and I beleive that it has not run right from tghe get go. Just recently the app would say that the last scan was 16 days ago, I had just run a scan and had two differnt scans scheduled. Thanks.

I regret for any inconvenience caused to you. Are you able to launch AVG Internet Security using the desktop icon? Please let us know the exact error message if you receive any when you try to open AVG. You could try repairing AVG (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) and check if that resolves the issue.

AVG not running tried all normal ways.  This a pretty lousy  way to get help with a product that is supposed to always be on protecting you.

Is your AVG Internet Security icon not responding or the program keeps loading when you try to open it? 
Could you elaborate on that, please? 
Please perform repair (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) installation and check if that fixes the issue.
