Avg not saving settings

please could someone let me know how long this fix should take,I have a product that doesnt work correctly and time is running out for me to obtain a refund under any cooling off period

it appears that the latest update has fixed the problem fingers crossed, I will be willing to accept your offer thankyou

morning, as there is no date set for a fix, Ive had the product less than a week and one of the major componants isnt working how do I go about getting a refund and moving to another product

Apparently it's a bug, but no timescale given for fix, not really something that should be happening in a paid version of a major security company… How many more bugs are there, how certain can I be that the other components are working correctly?

Hello, Steve.
We'd certainly assist you with this. Could you confirm which version of AVG program are you using and provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the blocked website settings window in AVG? Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I am using AVG internet security on PC with windows 10. I am trying to block websites, but when I enter an address in the block sites page, and press all the OK buttons it saves the address but turns off site blocking. If i go back in and turn site blocking on the address is saved but the same happens as soon as i move elsewhere in the settings menu and return
Ive reinstalled the web shield, and reinstalled the full program, but the same happens

That sound's great. As the issue was there on your PC for the last 2 months, we would like to offer you a 3 months license extension. I have forwarded the case to our concern team to help you in extending the license period for your AVG Internet Security program.

They will get in touch with you through email as soon as possible confirming the license extension.

That is why this issue has been declared as a bug and it will be fixed in our next update. We would appreciate your patience until this issue resolves.

Thanks,
Vishnu Vardan

Steve, we realize the situation.
Currently, there is a bug ongoing in accessing the AVG user interface.
In your case, the issue is completely different and it was confirmed by developers team as a bug.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

So the reply earlier today that everything is working correctly, because the interface says it is, is false , as I've pointed out

Steve,

Our developers team haven't gave us any time frame to resolve this bug that's why we didn't gave you any false promises. This bug will be resolved in our next product update. If there's any problem in the AVG components those components will be displayed in red and it will show as "Not Protected". Since all the components are in green you can be certain that those components are working fine.

Thanks,
Vishnu Vardan

Precisely…which is why your comment that everything will be working correctly is completely wrong and totally misleading…how many more bugs are there? A question you cannot answer truthfully so i would politely ask you withdraw your comment that everything will work unless showing red etc.

Iam not near the computer at present, however, iam using the paid version of Internet security. The setting page is simple, the allow site blocking toggle is on… I add an address to block… Click OK, then click OK on the next page. If I then go back to the settings page the allow site blocking toggle has been turned off!!! If I turn it on the addresses I've added are still there, click OK, as before, go back to the settings page and turned off again
