My scan is scheduled for 5:30pm every day…when the computer is awake. My dashboard shows last scan 8 days ago. I know for a fact it's been scanning because I check it every day. Are you ever going to get this problem fixed? This is more frustrating than you can imagine!
Ok. So I rescheduled the scan time to when I knew it would be awake. It does scan then…BUT, the dashboard still doesn't show it's been scanned. It's showing last scan 8 days ago. Will this ever be fixed?

So, against my better judgement I went ahead and renewed my AVG a couple weeks ago. I actually uninstalled and reinstalled the program hoping the above problem would be gone…but guess what? Still having problems. I've got it set to scan at 2:00am every morning…but, of course, it doesn't. I'm still having to manually run scans. I'd really hoped these problems would have been fixed by now…it's been months.

I tried to reconnect with him, rec'd the message no one was available. Obviously no one there can fix this problem. I've reinstalled AVG and will continue to run the scans manually like I've done this entire year. Obviously, it is once again saying last scan done never.
I won't be renewing once this subscription expires. And that's a shame. I was just looking at my history, and I've been using AVG for years now. Sad to see the end of what was once a really good program.
At this point, this is getting real old. I've got my paid version set to scan daily at 2:00am, but it never shows that it has. Always shows last scan was days, months ago. Right now it's showing last scan was 6 days ago…when it was done yesterday morning. (After the update a few days ago, it changed from 2 months ago to current day, but it's back to not being accurate again). have to choose to scan every morning. My version is current. I came real close to not renewing the paid version last year. This has become more trouble than it's worth.

I have it set to run at 2am, so no, it wasn't awake. It didn't use to have to be awake?

I understand this must be upsetting and I appreciate your efforts so far. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it, free of cost.

I would also like to inform you that the scan status will get updated only if you run a scan by clicking on "Scan computer" on main interface and not for any other scans like Schedules scan, deep scan and file or folder scan.

Your computer should be in idle or working state when the scan is scheduled.
AVG scan won't run in the background if it is on sleep mode.
And that's what I've been having to do every single morning…for months and months now.

I understand your concern. Scan status will get updated only if you run a scan by clicking on "Scan computer" on main interface and not for any other scans like Schedules scan, deep scan and file or folder scan.

This isn’t an expected behavior. In this case, I request you to repair AVG Protection (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG) and reboot your computer once. After reboot, click on the "scan computer" button and check the status.

I have scanned using "Scan computer" on main interface. The dashboard doesn't update on last scan. It still shows 8 days.

That was done. Do I need to do it again?
I manually run a scan every morning also. The last scan days does not change…ever. I don't really think there's much point in submitting feedback. Obviously this problem can not be fixed.
