AVG Not Shutting Down PC After Scheduled Virus Scan

I needed to do this process twice (maybe).  Here's what happened.  Ran the repair, ran scheduled scan.  The PC did not shut down.  Ran the repair again.  Ran scheduled scan again, but was there when the scan finished.  The screen advised that I had completed the scheduled scan, did I really want to shut down.  I selected yes and the PC shut down.

That evening I let scheduled scan run unattended.  When the scan completed the PC shut down.

Do we have to select yes I want the PC to shut down after the first scheduled scan?

There will not be any screen shots at this time as AVG has now run the scheduled scan and successfully shut down the PC two nights in a row.  Thanks.

Check the status with schedule scan and check whether it shuts down PC after scan.
Please be sure that the option "shut down PC after scan" is enabled on scan settings.

This is a recurring issue.  I have set the AVG option to shut down the PC after the evening virus scan.  It was doing so intermittently, but has stopped working for at least the last 30 days.  Suggestions?
