AVG not working

My AVG, which I have had and renewed every years for a few years has suddenly stopped working. It won't load or anything. I have come the website hoping something would help but there is nothing that answers my question. I have an AVG account. I have deleted my version of AVG (current at £35 / year) and downloaded the 30 free trial of the latest version, just to get some protection up and running.

Will I be able to reinstall the version of AVG that I had prior to this incident or will I HAVE to upgrade to the latest version at the end of the 30 day trial (currently at £45 per year) - in which case, I won't be bothering and will use Macafee instead.

Yes, you can activate your AVG Antivirus, please open your AVG Internet Security trial version > menu > about > subscription > enter license number (if you have login to AVG Zen/AVG dashboard account and you're able to see your email address, then please click on that and logout. After that, you will be able to see the option "enter license number"). Feel free to contact us again if you need any further assistance.
