We are sorry for the difficulties you are currently experiencing.
To install AVG Antivirus free we request you to run AVG remover tool to remove the traces of AVG multidevice and then install AVG Antivirus free.
To run AVG remover tool follow the below steps :
Please click on the below link to download remover tool
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
Accept the license agreement and then choose AVG Product and remove it.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

I have just recently purchased a laptop and would like to have AVG free on that as well as my desktop. The option to cover more then one device was there when I first downloaded it but it is no longer there. How do I get AVG free on the laptop?

Kim, If you follow the Aravind Gnanamurthy (AVG Technologies) posting you can actually install AVG Free on as many systems in your household as you require.
