Hello Marcio,
Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
We understand that your website was blocked by AVG and want to report false positive.
We'll certainly check and help you out.
A false positive is any clean file flagged as malicious. False positives may sometimes occur in any antivirus software because of new virus definitions being added to the application database. AVG file whitelisting is a service provided mainly to software developers to reduce the risk of false positive detections.
If your website is incorrectly flagged as malicious, you can report this using the Report a suspected false positive webform (https://www.avg.com/en-ww/report-false-positive#pc).
When you submit application files to the AVG Threat Labs, a group of analysts review the software/URL for malicious or unwanted activity.
If determined clean, the submitted file is moved to our set of approved files to ensure it is no longer flagged as malicious.
AVG reserves the right to refuse to whitelist any application.
If you have any queries, do let us know.
Thank you and keep us updated.
Hi, i sent my website url and website files through false positive form one week ago, but i haven't any answer. How to proceed? Thank you
I developed the site, suddenly AVG started blocking it. I downloaded and installed some scanners and firewalls where the result is that the site is clean of malicious scripts and I changed my access and SMTP passwords. But AVG continues to block the site without giving me the slightest detail as to why it is doing this. Can you help me unblock the site, please?
Thank You.
