AVG Paid File Shredder not working

Hi. After recent update to AVG Security Unlimited, the file shredder has stopped working.
If i rightclick a file it tris then fails with 'Something Went Wrong, we were unable to shred your file'
Even if i create a blank word doc and try to shred it , it still fails.
On Win10 Pro 1903. was working about a week ago.
Any one have any idea's or news as to why.
