I have just bought AVG Ultimate and am having the same issue.
I tried to install AVG Ultimate and it failed - Error 0xE001FA02 .
An AVG tole me my "new" laptop (hardware vs software) is corrupt and tried to get me to buy for a subscription.
I don't know what do do?
