You have an active subscription of AVG Internet Security (3 windows PC's) valid till January 4, 2020.
Did you run both the tools AVG clear and AVG remover? If not, please refer this link for instructions.
After restart, go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders manually.
1. Type “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2. “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3. %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4. %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files.
5. Type C: and press enter, delete AVG remover folder.
Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files.
Proceed with the installation of latest version through our official website (https://www.avg.com/en-us/installation-files)
In December 2017 I renewed my AVG Internet protection with a two year licence and today I received a popup telling me it will expire on 10th February. I tried to re-enter the activation code which was promptly rejected.
I then uninstalled AVG and when trying to re-install kept getting an error (the stub cannot run the installer / updater. I've tried the AVG uninstaller tool but get the same result with the same error message. I need to re-install as I have 10 months left on my licence.
