I am sorry to hear that. Please let me know if you got a threat detection message from AVG that your notepad.exe is infected? If it is, then please be informed that this is a false detection and it was resolved in the recent update of AVG. I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that fix the scanner issue:

Please open the AVG Internet Security installed in your computer and click on Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Change the application settings from "Auto Decide to "Allow". Once this is done, click on "Network Profile(Left side of the interface) and change the profile to "Private" if selected in "Public". Once this is done, please click on "System Rules" and enable the "Networking and Printer sharing" option and check if that fix the issue. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

I have in my PC a Trojan Horse virus  FakeAV.auqd and it has infected  c:/windows/system32/notepad.exe 
I paid for this AVG protection but I can't get of this virus.
Can you pls send me the solution to get rit of it.
Now I can't use my scanner it doen's work any more.
