AVG Passing the buck

This chat should pretty much sum up what I am going through and am just getting pushed to other people with AVG now stating my refund is out of their control and I will get it "as soon as possible" You be the judge.

ok…It has been 5 days and nothing. I check every evening. and the follow-up emails went unanswered as if they were hiding and hoping I went away and forgot about the $53.99

No, no no…I have already sent them the needed documents and in the email I cut and pasted above says this. AVG Support <support@help.avg.com>

It's Vojislav again from the AVG Senior Customer Care Team.

I have received another communication from our payment processor Digital River (DR) and it seems that the dispute will be opened until July/17/2022.
On this date, we will process your refund.

Digital River is a private company that provides global ecommerce, payments and marketing services. And our refund team is now coordinating with Digital River to reverse the charge.

So your telling me that PayPal has closed the dispute, AVG Acknowledged that the dispute was closed on July/17/2022 and were going to process the refund on that day. NOW your saying that AVG, that takes money in a nano-second is going to string this along and maybe in a month or two, or whenever AVG decides they might refund the money? Perfect,take but don't give back…
I'm sorry about the delay, I will set this case to high priority. Guarantee you will get your refund as soon as possible.

I was already told that by Voji, and it didn't happen now you really expect me to believe you? Just a typical hot key response to blow me off I guess…"As soon as possible" scary thought and not one to anticipate happening except what AVG considers as soon as possible.

AGAIN to the refund team, been through that team before on initiation and when I provided Papal case closed documents it was upgraded to the to the refund team, so here we go again…stall and third part blame. Anything else??? GOD no, Nothing more you can do as long as all your little boxes are checked, I guess I'm finished.
 Anyone else have suggestions for a viable solution or am I wrong for feeling like I am getting hoodwinked?
