AVG Password Protection can only scan passwords stored in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. It can't scan passwords stored in Microsoft Edge.

We will explain you about the AVG Password protection.
AVG Password Protection prevents applications and malware from viewing, changing, or deleting passwords that are saved in your browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and AVG Secure Browser.

To ensure Password Protection is enabled and actively protecting your passwords, click Hacker Attacks on the main AVG Internet Security screen. A green (ON) slider above Password Protection shows that the feature is enabled.

NOTE:The Password Protection feature in the latest version of AVG Internet Security is not the same as the separate AVG Password Protection application. The separate AVG Password Protection application is an older AVG product that is no longer sold online, however, if you have a valid AVG Password Protection subscription, you can continue to access this product until the end of your current subscription cycle.

Christmas 2021 Update: AVG Password protection can now completely break your passwords saved in Edge.
Password autofill stopped completely, and it says I had 0 passwords saved, but thank goodness, they call came back when I turned off AVG password protection.

On my Windows 10 PC AVG Password Manager Won't Work With Edge. Is this just me or is there a known issue?
