AVG Password Problem

It was a bug and our developers have fixed it by releasing an update (20.10)

Kindly check if your product is updated or not : AVG >> Menu >> Settings >> Update

If you are still facing this issue, kindly use clear from the below link and uninstall the AVG :

Restart the PC and reinstall the AVG to fix this issue.

A few weeks ago, I noticed when I checked AVG Internet Security that "Hacker Attacks" was showing red saying Password Protection wasn't activated.  I clicked on it and it turned Password Protection on.  This happened every time I logged in.  Today, AVG Internet Security showed that I needed an application update so I did the update.  Now it shows an update was done on Dec. 8, 2020 at 11:44 PM even though I did the update today on Dec. 14.  Now "Hacker Attacks" protection is turned off but it directs me to go to Password Protection and slide the bar to green to turn it on.  I have to do that every time I log in.  Is it possible that the update AVG did on Dec. 8 fouled up AVG Internet Security?  I've had AVG for many years and no problems except now.  What is going on with this app?  Please advise how to fix it.  Thanks.
