Could you please check if the AVG Internet Security is up to date updated and also share us the screenshot of the version.
Menu - Settings - Update
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Kindly restart the PC and check if you are still getting this pop up.
I keep receiving this message as of this morning:
"chrome.exe is trying to access your passwords in Google Chrome."
Then underneath the message AVG prompts me to Block App or Allow App
Can anyone offer and suggestions or solutions regarding this message.

Did the step by step repair as instructed, rebooted the PC and still got this message
