Usually, AVG Password Protection will get installed automatically if you have activated AVG Internet Security. Since this is an integrated product, it cannot be uninstalled separately from your control panel/PC.
In this case, we request you to uninstall AVG Internet Security which will remove AVG password protection. You can then proceed installing AVG Internet Security as mentioned in this article.
