Hello Victor,
I understand that you're unable to scan browser password using AVG Password Protection. May I know what happens when you run AVG Password Protection scan (if there is no weak password then it may not identify any password), if there is any error message then please share a screenshot of the error message to assist you further. You can check the following link to see the instructions about taking the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot). You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Best regards,
Alok.

Note that the final screen simply says "No passwords found in Firefox" not "No faults found in Firefox". Additionally it says "Are you maybe using another browser to store passwords" which suggests that it means that it cannot find any passwords. If it did find passwords, I would be most surprised if none of them were declared as being weak!

My app does not identify any passwords in my default browser (Firefox) while it does so for my alternative browser (Chrome). What causes this problem. Firefox has been selected as the default.

Hello Victor,
You're absolutely correct. AVG Password Protection offers an additional security layer added to your Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser to protect your sensitive login data, notify you about the leaks and advise you about the security level of passwords stored in your browser.

Alok.
