I see that you have an active AVG Ultimate subscription valid until 2019.12.31. In the latest version, the activation steps for AVG is different. Please, open AVG Internet Security > My AVG > My subscription > click Logout > Then click on Login and enter your Myaccount credentials to reactivate the program.
If you face any difficulties, please let me know to assist further.

I had a phone call from my technophobic 74yr old mum who has just renewed her pc tune up.
She has tried looking for a connect option but have failed to find it.
i have looked online and think I have found the issue but would like to make sure. I managed to get her to the avg interface (I live 60 miles away so all has been mum explaining what is on her screen). On the top right of the page was a help option. Once we clicked on that a variety of options appeared with links to avg support, avg website etc. On my screen it showed there were two options that she was missing. These options were activate avg and install avg.
The fact she was missing these options does that mean it has already activated her account or are we missing something out please.
Like is said I have had to go by what my mum has told me.

I have sent you an email, please follow the email instructions to get in touch with the remote support. Please ask your mom to follow the email steps from her PC. They will analyze the issue with AVG and fix it, free of cost.
She has done that. She now has internet security with the same info as you have given me.
Internet security has a date of 25th February
tune up was installed 1st February
its the tune up we can’t seem to find the way to activate it. The security that went on today would that include the pc tune up activation. It was an upgrade offer that was £10.50
Won’t be able to speak to her until later on this evening.
Just don’t know how to set it all up as not able to see her screen.
Thank you for responding. If you read it though you will see it’s not my avg but my mothers. That’s why you can’t find one registered under my email. I will however call her now and ask her for those details.

i have forwarded the email to my mum and assured her it’s a safe link. She is always worried about security after she was scammed.
