I had a trial subscription to AVG PC Tuneup. I decided to purchase for a year especially since I saw the reassurance that an involved download was not needed, and the cost was fairly reasonable. Also I supposedly was offered a discount. However, when I click on the buy link, I get the message "this page insecure" or something to that effect. Also AVG keeps popping up ads for an antivirus. I already have an antivirus from iobit. Do I need two? As I was clicking about still trying to get the AVG PC Tune up, I got a message to click "run" to install it. Then a message appeared that said AVG tune up could not install, because of remains of AVG PC tuneup on my drive. I clicked to remove the impediment and the installation continued, even though I had not paid for it yet. My AVG log on account page still shows that I have an expired tune up. What do I do next? What is going on? Also, is there any way to get rid of an annoying SWAG button that keeps popping up on the top right of my screen, as well as ads that pop up on the bottom right with no way to close them with an X.

Regarding older version of TuneUp, you need to uninstall the existing version using Remover & then install the latest version. Once you purchase the subscription, it will be easier to sort it out.
Also, we see that you've an active subscription of AVG Internet Security, valid till 2019.10.17. It isn't recommended to have multiple protection program on the same computer as they'll conflict with each other.
