Thank you for reaching us with your concerns. Please be informed that disk defragmentation usually takes time to complete it. Are you running it along with other maintenance tasks in 1-click maintenance scan? If yes, I would request you to run it manually as suggested below.

1.Open AVG PC Tune Up.
2.Click on All Functions.
3.Select Defragment disk under Hard disks.
4.Select Next and then choose Run fast defragmentation.
5.Click Next.

I have been running the Defrag program on a 12% fragmented HD.  Its been running for 14 hours.  Is this normal?  Is there any way to view the progress?
