AVG PC Tune UP defragmentation won't conclude

We regret for the inconvenience caused. Could you please let us know whether you are using the paid version or the Free version of the AVG PC TuneUp program? If you are using the trial version please check whether the trial version is still active.

The problem is with the AVG product itself. Their product is nothing but a scam. I've been posting Post-up notes  on their products in stores telling people what crap their product is and I'm going tostart having friends in other cities do the same thing. This  is easily done through Facebook and it's totally legal. There is absolutely nothing any of the morons at AVG can do about it.

My PC, HP23 Windows 10, is always running slowly and has background sound that sounds like scanning or defrag for the first three hours after startup. I have installed AVG PC Tune Up and when I run the Maintenance tab, the first 5 tasks run fine, but defrag just never concludes so that it always reporting that Maintenance has not been done for more than 14 days. Interestingly if I look at the defrag option in Windows it shows Drives 0% Fragmented.
Because Maintenance wont complete, I can't get the TuneUp complete.
What is going wrong?

Thank you for checking it and coming back to us. We suggest you to skip the defragmentation from your maintenance tasks.
Open AVG PC Tuneup.
Click on Settings.
Select AVG 1-click maintenance in the left pane menu.
Then untick the check box against Disk defragmentation on the list of maintenance tasks.

I uninstalled AVG TuneUP and deleted the folder in Program Files then reinstalled AVG Tune UP (free) and it seems to have fixed my problem,i.e. I'm not stuck in constant defrag.
BUT
How do I activate my Licence Number now? If I go to Buy Now or Help there is no place to enter my Key
