It will take more time, if there is any external storage devices connected with your system. Please remove that and I suggest you to cancel the defragmentation process and skip it from running. You can run it manually.
To skip it, open AVG PC Tuneup main interface, right click on settings icon (maintenance feature) skip the defragmentation option. Again, click on 1 click maintenance, uncheck defragmentation feature.
Then go to All functions feature ( last component) -> Hard Disk -> Defragment Disk. Select the drive and choose "run a fast defragmentation". It will show you the time frame of the process. We need to wait till the process gets completed.
I have just purchased AVG PC Tune-up. When I run the maintenance feature it comes up with disk defragmenting issues. When I run the fix, it goes into the process but seems to lock up - I've left it "defragmenting" for hours but no completion of the process.
