Yes. I do have a password set up fpr AVG Tuneup. As said in my original post "When I press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to bring up the menu that includes the Task Manager option and click on that option, an AVG Tune Up window pops up that asks for my password (and gives a hint as to what that password is); there is no way that I can actually activate the Task Manager option, only start the AVG PC Tune Up or cancel that AVG window." I can not use the Task Manager feature because AVG Tuneup does not let me.

Hello Malcolm. Do you have any password set for your AVG PC Tuneup program when it launches?
I use a PC with Windows 7. When I press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to bring up the menu that includes the Task Manager option and click on that option, an AVG Tune Up window pops up that asks for my password (and gives a hint as to what that password is); there is no way that I can actually activate the Task Manager option, only start the AVG PC Tune Up or cancel that AVG window.
What gives?
