after the last update of avg tune-up (yesterday, june 09 2020) many programs won't start. the shortcuts are not working and launching the programs from their locations is also not possible, at the attempt I receive a message like this: "windows cannot find c:\program files.… *.exe. make sure you typed…". the problem appears on 3 of my computers.
I solved the issue for Acrobat Reader by deleting the key AcroRd32.exe, which is found in the Windows register under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options".
For Microsoft Edge, the same issue was also solved similarly. As can be noted in the image, an AVG TuneUp application is set as the debugger.
I have a similar issue where all my my Office files and pdf's are no longer accessible from my user profile. Other files such as images, videos, music are all accessible.
