AVG PC Tune up will not Download

I have already removed my 30day free Tune-up before trying to download my newly purchased Tune-up.
I downloaded the installer again, but I still have the same ERROR MESSAGE (0xe001fa4e)

We request you to run AVG remover tool as mentioned (here) and click on "Run Anyway" to proceed with the removal.
NOTE: Run only AVG remover tool.
Install AVG PC TuneUp as mentioned (here) and check the status.

I purchased AVG PC Tune up for 1 PC for 1 year.  I registered the product and got a licence number. I went onto the Download link but the installation stops part way through and brings up an error message:
(0xe 001fa4e)  Can you help resolve this as I can't install my purchase.

I downloaded the remover tool, but when I went into it, it showed my AVG protection only. As I had already removed AVG Tune- up 30 day free trial before trying to install my newley purchased one.
I restarted my PC and downloaded the installer which again failed and showed the same error message (0xe001fa4e) So I am still with the same problem

I used the remover tool to remove my AVG protection. I was then able to install my newly purchased Tune-up.  Only problem now is that I have lost my AVG Security. Any ideas of getting that back? It was only because of your suggestion I remove it that I followed your advice.

Gillian, if AVG remover tool shows as "AVG protection" then old version of internet security is still present on your computer.
Please run the remover tool and select "AVG protection" and proceed with the removal.
Once it is completed, restart the PC and start the TuneUp installation.
Check whether you have Internet Security working after using remover tool.

You can follow the instruction to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security. You have to select license option to activate it.
