AVG PC TuneUp and defragmenting Solid State Drives

What about an onboard SSD?  I that is what was asked.

I recently purchased a better computer than what I am currently using and one of the upgrades was from a 7200rpm HDD to a 512GB SSD. I find the Maintenance section of PC TuneUP very useful as it does everything I need it to including defragment my HDD. I have yet to install PC TuneUP on my new computer in fear that the automatic maintenance will not detect that I have a SSD and attempt to defragment it, ruining it in the process. Does AVG automatically sense I have an SSD and just get rid of the option/skip over it? I was just wanting to be reassured that running the maintenance section of PC Tuneup will not ruin my SSD.

Hello Dylan,
Thank you for the brief explanation of the issue.
Please be informed that the disk fragmentation in PC TuneUp will not be done in External SSD Driver. The de-fragmentation takes place only in the inbuilt harddisk of your pc.
Feel free to contact us for any further assistance. Thank you.
