AVG PC TuneUp removed items from my startup menu. ALSO, it removed ALL my favorites, bookmarks, and bookmark bar from my brouser. Years worth of bookmarks are GONE! The brouser is Google Chrome and most bookmarks were imported from I.E. and Firefox

Try restore it as advised by Alan.
In order to analyze it please provide us with diagnostic output using this tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe) and please add detailed description of issue.
