AVG PC TuneUp Tray Icon changes

Ok, thanks for your answer Karthikeyan although I haven't received any notifications at all after the new change (it must be about a month now with the new tray icon, not sure why the release notes appear with such a delay).

Also, the visual notification is gone too. When there was something wrong, the tray icon was different (it had a clear, red exclamation mark or a yellow mark for less serious issues I think). Now, it always looks the same. That is a problem that needs to be fixed.

I still have an image of the old icon: https://i1.someimage.com/jR6AyHF.jpg

Thanks, but your reply is not relevant to my question. There is nothing in Settings (Integration & Notification) that has anything to do with what I wrote (Favorites removed, extra info removed)

Also, now that you've mentioned it, the new tray icon does not display any "there is a problem" warnings either (when there's no free disk space available, for example). It is much less useful, and only serves to switch between Economy/Standard/Turbo modes and start Maintenance.

I read in the release notes that appear today in AVG PC TuneUp, that the tray icon has been changed and that notifications are easier to read. What I still don't understand is this: where have the notifications gone?

If you left-click the tray icon, it will just open the main TuneUp UI. If you right-click it, you will only get a few options (most has been removed for some reason, in the name of "simplicity") with no information at all.

So I'll try and ask again: if AVG PC TuneUp detects something wrong in the PC (antivirus not working, low free space etc.), how is the user notified? The new update has removed all notifications - please correct me if I'm wrong.

Some new changes have been made there in the latest version... I see the 'Favorites' shortcuts have been removed, too (we've said goodbye to the Start Menu shortcuts some time ago, you never put them back). I don't understand why are making the program harder to use (and dumber, unfortunately).

Hello Alexandro,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
The AVG PC TuneUp will show up in the system tray. However, the settings might have changed in the program. Please open the AVG program and click on "Settings". From there check in "Integration" and Notificat6ion Area icon" and see if the system tray notification is checked and other shortcuts icons are enabled. That should fix the issue.
Thank you
Thank you for the information Alexandros,
We will inform about this to the concerned team and you can send your feedback on the recent changes of the AVG program from this link http://avgclick.me/AVGfeedback. This reaches the concerned department and they will check the same for you.
Thank you.
Hello Alexandro,
We are sorry for that. We misunderstood that you were taking about the AVG icon not visible. You can try the "Rescue Center" from the AVG PC TuneUp interface and restore all the settings and see if you are able to restore all the files and shortcuts removed by AVG.
Thank you.
