Good Afternoon All,

I have just noticed a reocurring MsiInstaller 10997 Error concerning the attempted installation of avgfmsetupx64.msi running from a temporary folder buried in under C:\ProgramData\Avg\Setup.

This occurs whenever I boot into Windows 7 Professional.

In the past I have installed a Microsoft Windows update that blacklists installation of patches unless I populate the registry with the associated registry key.  This is one such instance; therefore, my question is: What is avgfmsetupx64.msi and should I let it install?

Currently, the temporary folder hosting this msi doesn't exist.
