AVG PC Tuneup will not put programs to sleep

Sorry, Vishnu. none of those things work on the two machines that have this problem. I have other machines that it works perfectly on. I think this is a problem between Windows 10 Pro and AVG.

Sorry to hear about that. I would suggest you to repair AVG and check if that resolves the issue. To repair your AVG please follow these instructions:

Go to Start -> Control Panel.
Note: Click Settings first if Control Panel is not available in the Start menu.
Open (Programs) -> Programs and Features, or Add or Remove Programs.
Select AVG PC TuneUp in the list of programs.
Click the Change or Change/Remove button.
Select Repair.
Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
Restart your computer.

I cannot put any programs to sleep. I click on "Sleep", it displays the progress circle for a few seconds, the re-displays the "Sleep" button again.

I had done the repair prior to submitting the question, but did that again per your instructions. Still unable to put any programs to sleep.
