I got my new laptop today, it's an HP 17-x032na Laptop, Intel Core i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30 GHz 2.40GHz, 8GB RAM (7.89 usable), 1TB, 17.3" with a 64-bit operating system and x64-based processor, and I just got the free trial for AVG.
Upon my first performance scan, AVG found 314 registry errors, 14085 junk files and 31% of the disk fragmented, but no broken shortcuts.
I was just wondering if this amount of errors is something to worry about for a new PC or if this is the usual with new PCs, the laptop came with Windows 10, if that means anything.
Hello Daniel,
We are extremely sorry to keep you informed that the optimization percentage and the error's detected might vary depending on the PC performance. It is always recommended to optimize your PC with the AVG Performance program to have better performance of your PC.
Thank you.
