It seems that the detection is correct. Kindly update your virus definitions using the below steps (if haven't) 
Menu > Go to settings > Update > Check for updates
Also please share the screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=avg-create-screenshot) of the pop up so that we can help you accordingly.

AVG keeps blocking a connection to ap.lijit.com or ce.lijit.com because "it was infected with URL:Botnet".  This started on 7/28/2022.  Rosie Perea's thread on 7/30/2022 explains exactly what is happening to me.  Why do we all have to post our own message?  When that thread is exactly what is happening to me. On my first post in her thread, I didn't see that I should have been doing my own.
I am attaching a screen shot of my pop-up.  Whoops!  I don't see see a URL and the image won't upload here like I have done before.
