Hello Linda,
I will help you with the necessary information.
When you connect to a website, you provide data about your device, browser, and online behavior. While a VPN service can encrypt this data while its in transit and an antivirus can protect your PC from possible security threats, AVG AntiTrack prevents websites from tracking you via your online activity.
The pop-up you received is for AVG AntiTrack product.
I've just had this message - To be honest, it sounds like an blatant AVG Scam to get more money out of its users.
Strangely, it was only when I Googled 'AVG Tracking Cookie Found' that the pop-up appeared - coincidence?
I block ALL cookies from sites and only allow them if I deem them necessary - how has the AVG Software allow this to happen?
Hello,
Ive just had a pop up from AVG saying you've found a Tracking Cookie with a 'Resolve' button below the message.
How can this be possible when I have AVG Internet Security paid version installed?
Noticed another user posted the same thing today also.
Await your reply please
Neil, the cookies will be stored on your browser by default. Say for example if you visit msn.com often then next with the help of those cookies the site will load a bit quicker than last time.
It is a campaign pop up from AVG as we have released a new product, we aren't sure how that pop up came out when you were surfing it on Google. Please share us the screenshot of the cookie settings on your browser to check if it is configured in a proper manner to check and assist you further.
Also share us the screenshot of the pop up if you receive it again.
