AVG preventing access to Yahoo.com

Please provide the following information to help you better : 

1. Please try to disable AVG Internet Security components one by one and check whether you can access the website.
3. Have you tried to access yahoo website on all browsers such as chrome, firefox and edge etc?
4. What are all the AVG products installed in your device?
5. Let us know the operating system installed in your device. 
6. If you get any error message, kindly share us the screenshot of it.

I had AVG installed for a while, but I suddenly found that access to Yahoo was blocked. There was no informative message stating that this was because of AVG. I simply could not access yahoo.com or yahoomail.com etc. I really didn't know what the heck was happening, but I decided - on very thin speculation - to remove all anti-virus programs, starting with the last one installed: AVG. I uninstalled AVG, restarted my computer and voila: I now could access Yahoo again.

I would consider installing AVG again in the future but only if I know that this bug has been fixed.
